In 2013 Microsoft initiated collaboration with Fi on an interactive browser experiment for Internet Explorer and about-to-lauch Microsoft Surface tablet. The team has recieved an initial concept video from a partner agency and in the end produced two versions of the design for the client to select from.
A massive campaign on TV anticipated the new Microsoft tablet's launch featuring American singer, songwriter and beatboxer who was the runner-up on the sixth season of American Idol, Blake Lewis. The commercial reflected the main functions of experience which has been designed and developed by Fi's team.
Frame rate was affected directly by amount of graphics and objects in design, therefore design itself had to be constantly adjusted throughout the process. In the end it was a step-by-step collaboration between designer (Anatoliy) and developer (Tomek) which allowed the experiment come to life: design, develop, test, design, develop, test etc.
